When your international flight arrives in La Paz, you will be met and assisted by our English-speaking representative. From there, our representative will accompany you to your hotel.

After breakfast, take a city tour of La Paz, world’s highest capital city. Visit the Plaza Murillo, the famous Witch’s Market, and a choice of fine museums. On Street Jaen, a beautiful colonial street, there are four museums which may be visited one after the other. Visit the Valley of the Moon. Return to your hotel.

Tiahuanaco (B) After breakfast, a full day visit to Tiahuanaco, site of the oldest civilisation in Bolivia. Tiahuanaco was the centre of a very powerful empire stretching back to before 500 BC. Excavations are still in progress, but many stone ruins including the sun gate and central square are in excellent condition. Return to your hotel.

La Paz – Potosi (B) After breakfast, stunning journey across the Bolivian Altiplano to Potosi, which during its mining heyday in the 17th Century, was the largest city in the Americas. Transfer to your hotel.

City tour of Potosi including the world-famous silver mines from which silver was exported to Spain and used all over Europe. A stroll through the streets brings you back to the times of the Spanish Conquistadors. This city has been declared as part of the Patrimony of Mankind by the United Nations. Return to your hotel.

Potosi - Sucre (B)
After breakfast, we head northeast towards the judicial capital of Bolivia, Sucre. Sucre was the capital of Bolivia until the end of the last century and is officially listed as a Monument of the Americas and also as Patrimony of Mankind by the United Nations. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

City tour of the "White City," where outstanding examples of baroque art are found on nearly every corner. Visit to the Museum of La Recoleta, dating from 1600, which houses rare gold artifacts and interesting archaeological objects. A visit to the "House of Freedom,” site of the signing of Bolivia's declaration of independence in 1825.

Sucre - Santa Cruz (B)
After an enjoyable breakfast, head towards the large, jungle frontier town of Santa Cruz, which was founded in 1561 by the Spanish sea captain, Ñuflo de Chávez.

Santa Cruz - Cochabamba (B)
Our journey will continue towards the west and climbing upwards in altitude until we reach Cochabamba, at 2500 masl, in the heart of the Bolivian valleys.

A visit to Cristo de la Concordia, located in the San Pedro hill, is a monumental sculpture approximately 35 meters in height. A visit to Plaza 14 de Setiembre in the heart of Cochabamba before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, you will return to La Paz, transfer to the airport and onward for your flight home.
