La Selva Jungle Lodge (L/D)

From Quito, short flight to the port town of Francisco de Orellana, where you will be met by a bilingual guide and taken to a private dock. Here you will board a covered motorized canoe for a two hour, 60-mile trip down the Rio Napo to La Selva Jungle Lodge.

Days 2-4: La Selva Jungle Lodge (B/L/D)

Awaken to the sounds of the rainforest. After breakfast, you will have many activities to choose from, including: swimming or kayaking in the lake, fishing from the dock, lazing on the raft, climbing the observation tower, and/or visiting the Butterfly Farm

Activities at the Lodge:
Mandicocha Trail: An easy trail
El Salado: A two-hour excursion to see parrots and parakeets
High Forest Trail: A challenging mountainous trail.
Pilche Trail: Cross Garzacocha Lake and stroll along the trail for an hour.
Night Excursions: Canoe or walking trips after dark to view nocturnal animals
Pedro's Trail: There is a long and a short option.
Chawamango's Trail: This hike takes three hours.
Little Chawamango: Short hike around the edge of Lake Garzacocha
Overnight: La Selva Jungle Lodge

Return to Quito (B)

After breakfast return by motorized canoe to Coca, to connect to your flight back to Quito
