ASTA, American Society of Travel Agents, the world's largest association of travel professionals with over 20,000 members, including travel agents and the companies whose products they sell. Their mission is to enhance the professionalism and profitability of members worldwide through effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training, and by identifying and meeting the needs of the traveling public.
Members must agree to adhere to a strict code of ethics.
LATA, Latin American Travel Association, is a UK based organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of travel between Latin America and Ireland and the United Kingdom. Their goal is to improve public awareness of Latin America as a tourism destination and to promote travel industry professionalism  through education and training.
TIES, The International Ecotourism Society, is a global network of industry practitioners, institutions and individuals helping to integrate environmental and socially responsible principles into practice. They promote responsible travel to natural areas that unites conservation and communities, educating tourists and tourism professionals and influencing the travel industry, public institutions and donors to integrate the principles of ecotourism into their operations and policies.
APTAE, Peruvian Association of Adventure Tourism and Eco-Tourism, is a nonprofit organization that promotes adventure and ecological tourism in Peru, and seeks to preserve and benefit the environment through the participation of its members in courses of education and conservation projects.
DIRCETUR, Regional Office of Exterior Commerce and Tourism of Cusco.
Government organization, promoting the competition, sustainability and diversification of exportable Peruvian goods, tourism and artisanship; and promoting the international positioning of Peru in the global marketplace.
