Itinerary (5D/4N):
In the morning you will be met at the Juliaca Airport. On your way to Puno, visit the Chullpas (Burial Mounds) of Sillustani.Next day, in the morning, take a trip to visit the city of “Las Cajas Reales Chucuito,” which lies just 20 km from Puno. Pay a visit to the community of Chinchera. There you’ll have a private weaving demonstration. On the folowing day, take a boat to the Floating Islands of Uros, home of the ancient inhabitants of Lake Titicaca. Later, visit the Island of Amantani, where you will see the sacred sites of Pachatata and Pachamama, (Father Sky and Mother Earth). This is where you’ll be spending the night.
In the morning, visit the Island of Taquile, whose inhabitants are known for their friendliness as well as for their weavings. They design mantas, chullos (earflap hats), and other articles of clothing. Return by boat to Puno. Next day, in the morning you will be taken back to the Juliaca Airport to board your flight back to Lima.
