Itinerary:
Days 1-3:
First day, reception and assistance at the Airport in Rio. From there our representative will accompany you to your hotel.
Next morning, get up early to take a train ride up to Corcovado Mountain. On Corcovado or Hunchback Mountain stands Brazil’s most famous landmark: the statue of Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer). Also visit: Taunay Falls in the beautiful Tijuca Forest, Barra da Tijuca and the southern Rio Beaches including Copacabana and Ipanema.
After lunch you’ll do a guided tour of the city of Rio. Later, cable car up to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain
On the following morning, you’ll have a free day to relax and explore what many people consider to be the most naturally beautiful city in the world.
Optional: Take a helicopter tour to see the splendid city of Rio de Janeiro from the air.
Dinner at typical Brazilian barbeque restaurant with a Samba Show as entertainment.
Days 4-6: In the morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to the Iguassu Falls. Transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit of the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguassu falls, considered to be one of South America’s greatest treasures.
On the following day, in the morning take an excursion to the Argentina side of the Iguassu Falls (75% of the falls lies on the Argentina side). Return to your hotel in Iguassu (Brazil).
Free Afternoon to explore. (Optional: Take a boat tour to the edge of the falls where you can watch the water falling from above).
In the morning you will be taken to the airport to board your flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to your hotel.
Days 7-9: In the morning take a tour of the city and visit the Plaza de Mayo. Surrounding the plaza are various colonial buildings of interest. The tour continues down Avenida de Mayo and along the Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world. We’ll visit the famous Colon Opera House, the Recoleta Cemetery, with the tomb of Eva Peron.
Return to your hotel.
Next day, you will be free to rest and explore the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires. At night enjoy a delicious dinner with a Tango Dance performance for entertainment. On this last day, at the appropriate hour you will be taken to the airport for your international flight home.
